OUR HISTORY
Ottawa native Daniel Maddison founded MCL in 2008 following several years in the industry at various levels, where he observed a need for innovation and a positive work environment. Since then, Maddison Construction Limited has grown into a multi-disciplinary, commercial general contractor in the local Ottawa market and surrounding areas with a reputation for excellent responsiveness, giving our clients the confidence to know we have them covered.
Today, MCL includes a team of seasoned professionals, dedicated employees and loyal trade partners to provide our clients with worry-free solutions.

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
We believe it is our duty to respect the environment, both locally and globally. And we recognize the inevitable impact that the construction industry has on the environment.
That is why we make it a priority to operate in an environmentally conscious manner, from the planning stages of a project to its implementation and completion. Whether in our administrative practices or activities on a job site, we maintain an unwavering commitment to the principles of environmental preservation.
We adhere to waste minimization and active resource management of materials, fuel and energy. When working on our projects, we make every effort to minimize noise levels,
traffic nuisance, emission of pollutants and disturbance to the public and local ecosystems.
We strive to use LEED-rated (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and sustainable materials, as well as water-based products over oil-based equivalents. During demolition and renovation projects, materials are diverted from landfill and reused or recycled as much as possible. At the administrative level, operations are carried out electronically to minimize paper waste.
