Supporting Our Community: Maddison Construction’s Commitment to the Coldest Night of the Year
At Maddison Construction, we believe in the power of community. As a proud member of the Ottawa region, we are committed to supporting the local organizations that make a difference in the lives of our neighbours. That’s why we were honoured to serve as a Supporting Sponsor for the 2025 Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) fundraising event.
Each year, tens of thousands of Canadians gather in February to brave the cold and walk for a cause that touches the hearts of many: supporting those experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. This year, Maddison Construction not only sponsored the event but also joined the community on the ground. Several members of our team participated in the 5K walk alongside others who share our passion for helping those in need.
Since its inception in 2011, the Coldest Night of the Year has become a pivotal fundraising event, raising over $75 million across 190 Canadian communities. The goal is simple, but powerful: to shine a light on the most vulnerable members of society during the coldest months of the year.
What sets CNOY apart is that 100% of the net proceeds stay local. This means that all the funds raised by participants like us go directly to charities serving our communities. The funds raised through this year’s event will help local organizations that provide critical services to those struggling with homelessness, hunger, and emotional or financial hardship.
